A professional chef bringing culinary expertisePatricia Connair

Pat has been involved in all aspects of the food industry for more than 40 years. After graduating from the College of the Holy Cross and working for  the CT Superior Court, she quit her job to professionally pursue her passion for culinary excellence. She moved to Paris and graduated from “Le Cordon Bleu” cooking school, earning the school’s highest level  of merit, “le Grande Diplome”.This was a somewhat  unique accomplishment  for an American woman at that time.  She has worked in the industry in Paris, Helsinki, New Orleans,  New England and the Tri-state areas.  She has been a food critic for the New London Day newspaper,  and an active volunteer in New London  and Southeastern CT in numerous capacities.

An everyday foodie who knows what locals love- Steven Taylor

Steve while I’m no Bobby Flay or Guy Fiori, I’ve been around the block a few times with All kinds of food and know my way around a kitchen. Starting at a young age, I grew up with an Italian Grandfather who did all the Sunday dinner cooking while Grandma played cards with the parents. As I got older and went out on my own, I learned to cook for myself very quickly and worked in the restaurant industry starting in my teenage years. Dishwasher at Lum’s was my first job. Worked as a server in mostly fine dining or fast casual establishments, learning about food and wine. Later on, I started my own business with a traditional style hot dog cart that I expanded with many offerings including a delicious Italian Sausage sandwich with peppers and onions. Most recently I continue to experiment in my own kitchen with homemade soups, salads, sauce, salsa and pickled veggies from my home grown garden. I still enjoy experiencing new local restaurants and return often to the ones I enjoy most

Well-known celebrity adding some extra sparkle to the night- Reid Burdick

Reid Burdick, a new London native and born-again food junkie. He likes everything except not too big on hot spicy things and usually shy away from garlic because he claims it gives him nightmares. Loves eating all over the place around here in Boston, New York City, and in Vermont, some of his favorite dishes he posts up on his Facebook page. He says I only put up pictures of food that I really like and think that everybody else might enjoy trying.
